We are a craft-coffee loving, creative, community driven, passionate couple who grew up in the Pacific Northwest. The local, ever growing coffee culture taught us about the importance of direct trade, social responsibility, and great flavors. Some of us drink our morning cup with cream, some with sugar, and some just straight up. No matter what, we are so enthusiastic about coffee and love sharing that with you.

ABOUT US

At Bean Bar, we are committed to serving only the highest quality coffee. We chose a roaster with high ethical standards, who believe in direct trade, paying a fair wage, and working together with farmers to achieve a more delicious crop.

We believe a coffee journey is bigger than our 1000 square foot space. Our daily caffeine intake takes time, patience, knowledge and most importantly: passion. It includes picking the cherry fruit at the right time, to timed drying processes and milling, working with a knowledgeable roaster and ultimately serving you one of our single origin coffees or espressos you won’t forget about.

Sandra was born in Germany, has an appreciation for succulents, cute shoes, and great photography. Her passion to connect people with coffee is undeniable and she's always ready to discuss what's in your cup!

Jason Serres

Jason is the Graphic Design and Barista wizard for Bean Bar. He loves a good pair of Nikes, making his morning pour over, and used to work in a comic book shop. His delicious cappuccinos with latte art won't disappoint.

We take pride in serving 49th Parallel and believe it is one of the most flavorful cup you will ever taste. Come and experience your morning (or afternoon) cup of joe!

Direct Trade

Our roaster works with farmers in many regions across the globe to ``motivate, recognize and reward coffee production resulting in exceptional cups of coffee``

Slow Bar

We believe in the connection coffee can create. Come and grab a pour over or taste espresso while chatting with your local barista about flavors, origins and direct trade.

Bringing everyone together, from the farmer who grows the coffee we serve to the local community, is important to us.
